Chapter 01
94 to 97 percent, three forms
CalTrak ships at 94 to 97 percent purity. Choose 1 to 3mm mini-pellet prills, 4mm pellets, or a 37% liquid brine, depending on what your equipment and application call for.
Every form is fully water soluble and classed non hazardous under OSHA standards. A Safety Data Sheet and a Certificate of Analysis travel with every order, and CoAs are issued per container lot.

Ice control that works colder than rock salt
CalTrak is fast acting and stays effective at lower temperatures than rock salt, for both de-icing and anti-icing work. The same pellets double as a dust control product on unpaved roads, yards and arena footing.
Chapter 03
Tire and equipment ballast
High purity pellets dissolve quickly into a stable, freeze resistant ballast solution for tractor and equipment tires, holding its weight through a cold season without breaking down.
Other uses named on our own product literature: a concrete set accelerator, a component in drilling fluids, an oil field service chemical, and waste water treatment.
Oilfield: Texas and North Dakota
In oil and gas work, CalTrak brine establishes and maintains wells, serves as a completion fluid, seals well casings and displaces drilling mud. It stabilizes shale formations and adjusts drilling fluid density.
It also functions as a completion and workover fluid with freeze protection built in for cold climate sites, in markets including Texas and North Dakota.
Every CalTrak order ships with a full SDS and a Certificate of Analysis. Container lot quantities, coordinated personally by Rick Triplett, Bryn-It.
